Ross Bazeley

Over the years Ross has worked with various organisations and individuals across the creative, corporate and education sectors.

Much of this work has focussed on the education sector:

  • continuing professional development
  • training
  • educational research
  • online learning
  • providers in promoting their services to students and the wider community.

He works primarily as a video editor but has a great deal of experience as a videographer, filming lessons, CPD sessions and educational events. He has often stepped in as a director when required. Ross is also a qualified teacher of mathematics.

Projects he has worked on include, Centres for Excellence in Mathematics (Education and Training Foundation), Advanced Mathematics Support Programme (MEI), ICCAMs Maths (Education Endowment Foundation), Lessons for Mathematical Problem-solving Project (The University of Nottingham), Bowland Maths (Bowland Charitable Trust), Mathematics Assessment Project (Shell Centre for Mathematical Education), Formative Assessment in Science and Mathematics Education (University of Newcastle), Citizenship and the Learner Voice (Learning and Skills Improvement Service) and Supporting Business Innovation (Learning and Skills Improvement Service).

Ross also worked for five years as a media producer on The National Teaching and Learning Change Programme (DfE), where he was responsible for overseeing the production of multimedia teaching resources in science, mathematics and engineering. He went on to produce the Maths4Life resource Thinking Through Mathematics (DfE).

Outside of education Ross has filmed, edited and directed various corporate videos:

  • promoting products and services,
  • communicating company initiatives and updates,
  • supporting staff training.

Clients include Unilever Food Solutions and Aramark.

He has also edited two seasons of a US series The Designer Within (Cheese and Crackers for PBS), the documentary Plane Clothed Detective (Discovery Wings) and worked on the TV series Mountain Bike Britain (Channel 4). He has recently finished work on another US series RV Revival (Cheese and Crackers) which is currently in production.

Ross is based in Dorset.
